I ordered a bed on December 28, 2019 for my daughter's room. Paid $1120. The original delivery date was set for early February (well before COVID). Then I got a voice message saying it would be delayed until Early March. When March arrived I got a call telling me it would be April 28. When I checked the order status online the date had changed to Friday, May 8th. Apparently they no longer bother to call about delays. On May 6th I did a live chat with a customer service rep, and he assured me it would be delivered on Friday. With this in mind, I got rid of my daughter's old bed to make room for the nice new bed that was supposed to be delivered today. When I woke up this morning and checked the website to see what time it was coming, the delivery date had magically changed to June 12th. No call, no email, no text. Nothing. I called the company. As I write this, I have been on hold for 23 minutes and am still caller number 18. I live chatted a rep, and she told me she is not able to refund my money. She had the nerve to blame the delay on COVID - I ordered the bed on December 28th of LAST YEAR. At this point I will be contacting my credit card company to see if they can get the money back.
Awful customer service. They advertised First Reaponder discount, but then said the promotion was over. We spent two hours in the store and the salesman couldn’t answer our questions. He told us to call the 1-800 number. I was on the phone with her for THREE and HALF hours to get all the pricing right. The store told me deliver Aug 4 for mattresses and dining, bedroom delivered first of September, and sofas 12 September. We ordered in July. Then they switched delivery stores and didn’t tell us and then delivery dates. I had to email the store back to get a receipt because no one would send me one. We’re prepared for delivery and took off work for delivery, and they call to say they’d be delivering 3 dining chairs. No table and mattresses no bed. Everything was pushed back for another month and half. We have a family of four - what are we doing with three chairs and no table. We’re currently standing around the center island to eat! I spent over 7 hours getting this order placed and when I told them this was not acceptable and I wanted to cancel, she took less than 3 minutes on hold to cancel almost 7k in furniture without a blink of an eye. I’m just floored. Never again.

Placed an order for 2 pieces of furniture. One actually came in as it was supposed to and one time. The other, a costly one, was pushed back another month. So they asked if I wished to cancel, which I'm betting was the intent all along. I paid for this with a card over 2 weeks go by and no refund for the cancelled furniture put back into my account. Good luck calling someone unless you time it to right before they open the lines. Finally got through to a rep. They said they issued the refund over a week ago to the bank. Must be the banks fault. Call the bank, they never received anything about such refund. Call VCF back, and now my case is under investigation. It's ridiculous. I just want my money back.
I contacted the sales manager Cohl Holbrook Ft Wayne IN to inform him what transpired in my home pertaining to a DINING glass top table I had purchased at there store literally exploded in my home throwing glass app.15 ft
across the room.He refused to look at the pictures and wasn"t even surprised. He indicated it was beyond warranty . It clearly was a defect in the glass that caused the explosion and he refused to accommadate the situation.BEWARE !! WHEN YOU BUY GLASS.CHECK ON LINE WITH SIMILAIR CASES.IT CAN CAUSE UNBELEIVALBE EXPLOSIONS AND PHYSICAL HARM !! THERE IS AN IDENTICAL DIN TABLE ON THERE FLOOR WAITING FOR A POTENTIAL VICTOM . I WAS LUCKY ..I WAS GONE WHEN IT BLEW UP ! They refused to replace a table of equal value . I will NEVER EVEN CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN CONSIDERING WHAT HAPPENED. PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY .THIS COULD BRING TREMENDIOUS HARM TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY !!

The worst customer service and warranty company I have ever dealt with in my life. I called the warranty company to schedule a repair and the guy never showed up and when I called him he started telling me that I had the wrong date and time. He kept stating that it was my fault and that he was “trying to help me” I had to remind him that he was NOT doing me a favor, that I had paid good money for the warranty. Just and awful experience. When I called to reschedule I asked to have some else come over and was told that he was the only person that they had! I was not prepared to face that guy so I decided to fix the drawer myself and never to purchase from them again. I’d rather pay more elsewhere than to deal with their costumer service personnel, simply put, the worst ever!
I bought 1 sleeper sofa and one couch from the store, one would be available for pick up 3 weeks from purchase date and the second a month later. So upon getting the first couch which was on Dec 23, the product was nothing like the one advised in the store. The seating was so bad you could literally feel the metal sticking on your glutes. So i returned it and asked for a refund, the manager advised that he is having dinner so he's in a hurry and said he could do nothing about the 15% charge. After calling the customer service number twice, one to wait an hour and the second 1:45 hr the customer service was rude and said they cant help and hung up on me. RUN AWAY DON'T BUY FROM THEM.
I ordered bedroom furniture in August and it is now beginning of January and I still have not received my furniture. I was given 3 different delivery dates and the furniture did not come as promised and I did not get a follow up phone call telling me the furniture was not coming. So I waited 3 separate times, all day, for nothing. When I have asked supervisors to call me, I have received no phone calls. You get what you pay for, never do business with this company!!! They just don’t care. They will string you along just to get your money.
I purchased a new TV stand for $750, got it home and there's a split in the top of it. I tried to calling several times and was told someone would contact me and I've sent several emails per their instructions and I haven't heard anything. I paid for a new product and got a scratch and dent product and there's nothing I can do about it. I'm just stuck with the junk.
Very unpleasant experience. I had placed an order for a kitchen table set online on Nov. 7th. VC processed the payment the day after and charged my credit card before a delivery date had been confirmed. I then placed another order for a bedroom set on Nov. 25th, and again VC processed my credit card payment two days later, not only charging my credit card but immediately cancelling the delivery date I had selected upon submitting the order and somehow combining it with the previous order, charging two separate delivery charges for on delivery.
I emailed customer service for an explanation, but received no response. I then tried to call last Friday, waited for over an hour and a half, and reached no one. On Sunday I sent another detailed email so they would receive it early Monday, and again no response. I called again on Monday, reached a customer service rep after waiting again over an hour and a half, and was given confusing and conflicting info about the order. The rep was clearly rushed and did not know what to do, so I requested an order cancellation. After she put me on hold another 15 minutes, she advised that the charges would be credited back to the credit cards I used for the order. It is now Thursday evening and the charges are still on my credit cards with no action taken. I now have to dispute the charges with my credit card co., and I will be reporting this to the Illinois Attorney’s General office and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Ordered some table and chairs here and the service turned out to be ok. The service is a bit too slow but not a big problem. Good quality!
